Imphal: Manipur reported a single Covid related death, 136 new positive cases ( 135 general population 1 CAPF) and 265 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Monday, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The lone person who succumbed to the deadly virus was from Thoubal. He was not vaccinated and with his death, the cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1812.
The 135 persons (65 males, 70 females) from the general population who tested positive include 49 from Imphal West, 39 from Imphal East, 8 from Seanpati, 7 each from Kakching, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Ukhrul, 3 each from Churachandpur, Kangpokpi and Tengnoupal, 2 from Chandel and 1 from Kamjong.
Altogether, 1,909 samples were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 7.1 %.
Of the 265 persons who were discharged,77 were from home isolation, 85 from CCCs, 81 from CHICs, 77 from RIMS and 7 from JNIMS. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 96.22 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,17,807 (General Population – 1, 13,058, Central Security Personnel 4,172). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 1, 12,807 (General Population – 1, 08,668, Central Security Personnel – 4,133). The number of active cases is 2,617 (General Population – 2,583, Personnel – 33).
The total number of doses administered on September 12, 2021, is 2,021 and the cumulative number doses administered is 15,94,555 (1st dose 12,00,722, 2nd dose 3,93,833)
The total number of beds available in various hospitals for Covid-19 patients on September 13 is 580 out of which 476 are general beds while 104 are ICU beds.
The total number of beds available in Covid Care Centers in the state on September 13 is 3467 out of which 7958 are occupied and 2709 are vacant.
