Imphal: 14 persons succumbed to Covid 19, 838 persons from the general population and 25 from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) tested positive while 522 persons recovered in the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 pm of Tuesday, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The 14 persons who expired on Tuesday Saturday include % from Imphal East, 4 from Thoubal, 2 each from Imphal West and Kangpokpi and 1 Bishnupur. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1218.
The 838 persons (442 males, 396 females) from the general the population who tested positive include 298 from Imphal West, 120 from Imphal East, 96 from Kakching, 73 from Bishnupur, 72 from Churachandpur, 71 from Thoubal, 27 from Tengnoupal, 16 each from Chandel and Tamenglong, 15 from Noney, 10 from Ukhrul, 9 each from Senapati and Kangpokpi, 3 from Pherzawl, 2 from Jiribam and 1 from Kamjong.
Meanwhile, 592 persons recovered and were discharged, which include 218 from home isolation, 197 from CHICs, 139 from CCCs, 27 from RIMS and 11 from JNIMS. The recovery rate in the state is 89.87%
The cumulative number of positive cases is 73,581(General Population – 69,885 and Central Security Personnel – 3,885). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 66,132(General Population – 62,346 and Central Security Personnel – 3,786). The number of active cases is 6,231(General Population – 6,137 and Central Security Personnel – 94).
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1967D type Oxygen Cylinders and 485B type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and government institutions have 472D type 97B type filled cylinders out of which Bishnupur (121D, 4B), Chandel (33D, 7B), Churachandpur (69D, 0B), Senapati (44D, 0B), Thoubal (66D, 29B), Ukhrul (31D, 18B), Tamenglong (20D, 0B), Jiribam (48D, 13B), Moreh (14D, 4B), Kangpokpi (3D, 0B), Kamjong (3D, 2B), Kakching (12D, 18B), Noney (2D, 0B) and Pherzawl (6D, 2B). CCCs have 322D and 121B filled oxygen cylinders available Monday.
30,476 persons were vaccinated on June July 5, 2021. The cumulative number of vaccination is 7,69,107(1st dose 6,81,679, 2nd dose 87,428).
