Imphal: Manipur on Monday reported 530 new cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), a bulletin from the health department showed. With this, the state’s cumulative cases reached 44,627, data showed. Also, 17 patients lost their lives to the infection on the day, which pushed the death toll to 705.
Four persons at Raj Medicity, two each at Shija Hospital and Babina, one each at District Hospital Thoubal and RIMS, seven at JNIMS hospital were expired.
The fresh infections detected on Monday are much lowered than the previous day, which was stood at 767.
As many as 611 patients were reported as recovered on the day taking the overall recoveries to 37,478. Cumulative recovery rate in Delhi currently stands at 83.98 per cent. The number of active cases in the state stood at 6444.
During the past 24 hours, a total of 1323 D type Oxygen Cylinders and 495 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur. District Hospital and Government institutions have 186D, 61 B type filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (34D, 0B), Chandel (18D, 4B), Churachandpur (14D, 61B), Senapati (18D, 0B), Thoubal (46D, 13B), Ukhrul (7D, 0B), Tamenglong (7D, 0B), Jiribam (20D, 13B), Moreh (5D, 6B), Mao (4D, 6B), Kamjong (3D, 1B), Kangpokpi (5D, 1B), Kakching (1D, 8B), Pherzawl (4D, 5B) and Noney (0D, 2B).
As per latest information, the total number of persons vaccinated is 345618.
