Manipur observes Martyrs’ day, pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi

Ajay Kumar Bhalla, led the people in paying homage by laying wreath at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Memorial Hall, Imphal.

Members of the Legislative Assembly, Chief Secretary, Security Advisor, DGP, along with senior civil and police officers, also laid wreaths at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, paying tribute to his enduring legacy of truth and non-violence.

Besides the singing of bhajans, a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed freedom fighters.
