Imphal: Cooperation Minister, Manipur Nemcha Kipgen, urged the farmers in the fishery sector to execute their work sincerely and with sheer dedication, and funds will be provided.
This was stated during the launch programme for the “Online Portal for Registration” of cooperative societies and the inauguration of the training programme for farmers held Monday at the Cooperative Complex in Lamphetpat.
While mentioning that cooperativism is the only effective tool to develop Manipur, Minister Nemcha Kipgen reiterated the role of cooperative movements in the socio-economic development of the state. She earnestly appealed to all to make Manipur a model cooperative state in India as well as all over the world.
She stated that the newly launched portal for the registration of cooperative societies will ease the process involved in the registration. People can register at their own convenience at the tip of their fingers through the newly launched portal, she added.
The Cooperation Minister further informed that through the portal, one can check the status of their registration. As per the Manipur Public Services Delivery Guarantee Act, 2021, registration must be completed within 30 days, according to Nemcha.
The minister called upon all to utilise the portal with the sole objective of developing the socio-economic condition of the people.
It may be mentioned that the newly launched online portal for cooperative registration is taken up under the initiative of the “Business Reforms Action Plan” (BRAP). This initiative will ease G2C (Government to Citizen) and C2G (Citizen to Government) services for Ease of Doing Business (EODB).
