Hearing held for voters with PSEs in Manipur’s Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi: A hearing was held Monday for electors in connection with photo similarity entries (PSEs) under the 50-Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency.

At least 146 electors were called for hearing Monday, out of which 69 turned up physically with relevant evidence of their claims. The hearing was held for electors under the polling stations from 50-1 to 50/12 at Room No. 5 at the DC Office Complex. 

It may be mentioned that a hearing notice was issued by Shri Derick L. Khoubung, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), 50-Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency, on the 17th of this month. 

The notice listed the names of electors with PSEs polling station-by-station and requested that they be physically present during the hearing. It also mentioned that anyone who failed to appear at the hearing, their name deleted from the electoral roll and that no further claims in this regard would be entertained.
