Imphal: Manipur Governor, Anusuiya Uikey hosted the ‘At Home’ reception at Raj Bhavan Tuesday as part of the 77th Independence Day Celebration. Governor Uikey was given a ceremonial welcome by the police band with the National Anthem played by it.
Chief Minister of Manipur, Nongthombam Biren Singh, Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly, Th. Satyabrata Singh, Council of Ministers, MLAs, Top Civil and Police Officers & Officials of the state, eminent personalities, esteemed invitees, and special invitees amongst others were present for the occasion.
Governor Uikey extended warm greetings of the Independence Day to all the dignitaries present on the occasion and also warmly welcome them. She exchanged pleasantries and interacted with the esteemed invitees present for the reception.
All the esteemed dignitaries are entertained with high tea during the events, followed by a photo session with all the invitees in front of the historical Raj Bhavan building.
