Imphal: The Governor of Manipur, La Ganesan to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba).
Stating that the advent of New Year is an occasion to rejoice and look forward to the future with hope, Governor Ganesan said it is also a time to resolve to usher in a year of peace and harmony in the state.
“I also look forward to the New Year as the harbinger for a happy and prosperous life for all the people of the state irrespective of caste, creed and religion. I am hopeful that the advent of the New Year will further cement the bond of friendship among the different communities in the state”, Governor Ganesan’s message added.
