Imphal: Several organisations continued to donate to the Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. On Sunday, All Manipur V.D.F Welfare Association donated their one-day honorarium amounting to Rs. 28,47,466. The said amount was contributed by all the VDF members of 16 districts of the State so that it could be used for the procurement of necessary items used in the treatment of COVID patients.
All Manipur Government Drivers’ and Technician’s Association also donated their one day wages from the salary pay of May 2021 to the Relief Fund.
Chief Minister N. Biren Singh expressed profound gratitude to the organisations for donating to the Relief Fund.
