Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.

He offered prayers for peace and harmony, asking for strength and wisdom to help restore tranquillity. Reflecting on the significance of Janmashtami, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu, Singh highlighted the timeless teachings from the Bhagavad Gita.

He emphasized that Lord Krishna’s message of following the path of Dharma, dispelling ignorance, and enlightening hearts with wisdom is universal and transcends religious boundaries.
