Mandatory linkage of Aadhaar with ration card

Shillong: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed all the beneficiaries identified under NFSA having PHH and AAY Ration Card under East Khasi Hills, that the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, has stressed on the mandatory linkage of Aadhaar with Ration Card (PHH and AAY). 

In this connection and in order to avoid the risk of reduction in coverage, all NFSA beneficiaries are requested to complete the e-KYC exercise through e-POS machines available in all the Fair Price Shops throughout the East Khasi Hills District, on or before the 25^th March, 2025 positively.
