Hooghly: A middle-aged man was rushed to a hospital on Tuesday morning with blood spilling his wrist after he allegedly murdered his parents and married sister and evacuated from his home.
Police investigating the triple murders said, the crime happened at Dhanekhali’s Dasghara village in the district early on Tuesday, where the police and the neighbour found three mutilated bodies, including the father, the mother and the sister of the wounded man, who was taken to a Gramin hospital.
Police said the man, was a private tutor by profession, he may have killed his parents and sister before attempting to kill himself with a sharp weapon.
The neighbours said poverty may be the reason for this criminal act. The married sister came home to celebrate Bhai Ponta.
