Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday saluted all doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, paramedical staff, health workers, ASHA workers, Covid warriors, and GDA staff on the occasion of Doctor’s Day.
Taking to Twitter, Banerjee said, ” Happy Doctor’s Day. Let me salute all doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, paramedical staff, health workers, ASHA workers, covid warriors, and GDA staff, all of who keep us healthy. “

Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari said, ” Greetings & gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses & other Healthcare professionals on National Doctor’s Day for the care & service you provide us. “
” India has been celebrating this Day since 1991 to honor Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy’s birth & death anniversary, both falling on July 1, ” he added.
