Mamata Banerjee to meet flash flood victims during North Bengal trip

After landing at Bagdogra Airport, Banerjee would travel by road to Malbazar in Jalpaiguri district where eight persons died in a flash flood during the Durga Puja immersion on October 5.

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will interact with families of those killed in a flash flood at Malbazar and hold an administrative meeting during a four-day visit to North Bengal beginning Monday afternoon.
