Aurangabad/Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 307 new Covid-19 cases and one death in last 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Sunday.
With the addition of new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,82,476 and the death toll remains at 1,47,855.
Meanwhile, 240 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 77,32,792.
The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent .
Presently, 1828 active patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
So far 8,06,98,645 swab samples were tested till date, of them 78,82,476 (9.77 per cent) tested as positive across the state, the bulletin added
Meanwhile, one positive case was reported across in Aurangabad district of Marathwada region and no new case reported from the rest of seven districts, the bulletin further added.
