Liquor mafia in fray from alliance of Nitish who promulgated total liquor ban in Bihar

The BJP leader said that it was a great irony that on one hand, more than three and a half lakh people had to go to jail due to the law framed by Nitish Kumar while on the other the alliance of Kumar has fielded a liquor mafia, an accused of illicit liquor sale in Gopalganj.

Patna: BJP Bihar unit president Sanjay Jayaswal alleged that more than three and half lakh people were sent to the jails due to the prohibition promulgated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and ironically the alliance of Nitish Kumar has fielded a candidate accused of illicit liquor sale.
Accusing RJD candidate from Gopalganj Mohan Prasad Gupta for concealing facts in his affidavit filed during his nomination for the by elections being held in Gopalganj, Jaiswal said here on Tuesday that one Deepu Kumar Singh of Gopalganj has filed a writ in this connection before Patna High Court. Jaiswal said that his party complained about it before the election commission but could not get justice.
The BJP leader said that it was a great irony that on one hand more than three and half lakh people had to go to the jail due to the law framed by Nitish Kumar while on the other the alliance of Kumar has fielded a liquor mafia, an accused of illicit liquor sale in Gopalganj. He said that through the writ the Patna High Court has been requested to hear the matter at the earliest so that the electorate of Gopalganj can elect their proper representative.
He alleged that the RJD candidate has concealed several facts in his affidavit and added that the candidate is a partner and director of a liquor company which has not been revealed in the affidavit. The BJP leader said that a case has been registered in Giridih of Jharkhand against the company of the RJD candidate.
