Guwahati: Large quantities of Yaba tablets were seized by Cachar district police and BSF which carried out a joint operation at Katakhal in Silchar.
“Based on secret inputs, Cachar Police & BSF carried out a special joint operation and intercepted a vehicle coming from a neighbouring state in Katakhal, Silchar, carrying 2,60,000 packets of YABA tablets,” Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on X ( formally twitter).
