Kakching: Under the “Operation Sadbhavna”, a borewell was successfully installed by the Assam Rifles at Purum Tampak Village of Kakching District which will provide continuous water supply to the villagers.
M. Binbin Singh, SDC, Waikhong: Major Shivam Sachan, 46 Assam Rifles and the Secretary and Village Chief of Purum Tampak village attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Assam Rifles as part of their humanitarian initiative completed the installation of borewell. The facility is intended to serve all the villagers providing them a fixed and permanent source of water for their daily activities.
In line with the noble initiative of “Operation Sadbhavana” also known as “Operation ‘Goodwill,’ Assam Rifles is undertaking various projects showcasing the force’s dedication to community well-being and national integration.
