Begusarai: Some armed criminals shot dead a journalist Subhash Kumar of a news portal at Sakhugaon village under Parihara police station area here late Friday night.
Police said here on Saturday that some criminals fired indiscriminately on the journalist when he was returning from some function. The scribe who was shot in his head was rushed to Bakhri hospital were the doctors declared him dead.
Police Superintendent Yogendra Kumar said here that the criminals have been identified and police were taking all steps for speedy judgement.
Meanwhile local scribes met the SP and expressed their anguish on the incident.
