Joint team rescues teenage girl in Manipur

Imphal: A joint team of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police with the help of the local populace rescued two individuals including a teenage girl who went missing from the general area Charlong village in Chandel district, Manipur. 

They were suspected to move towards the Indo-Myanmar Border from June 22-24, officials said. 

Demonstrating synergy a joint team Assam Rifles and Manipur Police carried out extensive search with local populace and found them at Khongjol village Chandel. 

The team used all methods to track the missing individuals, wherein use of drones was also endeavoured, said a press note from the PRO, IGAR(S).
