Srinagar: Security forces in a joint operation arrested a militant of “The Resistance Front” (TRF) during a raid in the South Kashmir district of Anantnag on Sunday.
Official sources said that based on a tip-off Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and the Army during a joint operation nabbed the militant belonging to the TRF at K P Road in the south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
They said the militant has been identified as Feroz Ahmad Zargar alias Kamran, a resident of Gratabal Qaimoh of Kulgam district.
Interestingly, his elder brother Majid Zargar who was a top LeT Commander was killed in 2017 at Arwani.
Further investigation into the case has been initiated, the sources added.
