Chandel: Deputy commissioner Chandel, Mayanglambam Rajkumar inaugurated the IT/ Control room at the DC office Chandel, Saturday.
Speaking to the media persons after the inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner said that the state government had already started implementing an e-office system which is also being implemented in the district offices.
The IT room which was inaugurated today at DC office is part of the many steps which are being taken up by the district administrations of Chandel and Tengnoupal for the mandatory implementation of the e- office system in the district.
He said that, as part of it, special training is also being imaprted. He further said that a dedicated IT room has become inevitable as, while implementing any developmental projects or schemes IT has become an essential part of it. To enable proper functioning of it dedicated manpower and systems are also being utilised.
He further opined that, this system will be more effective and transparent while implementing any developmental projects and schemes. He also said that the same is also being implemented at the Tengnoupal district which IT room will also be opened in few days time.
