Bishnupur: The District Election Office, Bishnupur organised a district-level painting competition Friday at Ibudhou Sorarel Community Hall, Toubul in Bishnupur district to mark the observance of ‘International Day of Persons With Disabilities’.
As many as 54 students from different schools participated in the painting competition. District Nodal Officer for SVEEP Dr. Salam Dhana Singh distributed cash prizes and citations to the winners.
The observance was held in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Bishnupur, Green Brigade Manipur and Legal Aid Clinic Toubul to promote accessible and inclusive election for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
