Imphal: To nurture talent amongst young girls and boys in the game of Wushu, Indian Army distributed Wushu Training Kits to young enthusiasts at Sendra village in Bishnupur district of Manipur on March 5, 2024. 

This initiative is part of the Army’s Civic Action Program under Operation Sadbhavna, which aims to encourage talent from far-flung rural areas to embrace Wushu but also empowers them by providing proper equipment. 150 children benefited from this initiative. 

India Army reaffirmed their commitment to support young sport enthusiasts of the region with necessary sporting gear and guidance, according to a press note from the PRO, (Defence), Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.
