Kohima: In an effort to honour the selfless contributions of doctors, the Indian Army conducted an awareness and informative lecture on “Ethics and Empathy: The Heart of Medical Practice” at Leimakhong Military Station, Manipur.
The event aimed to educate attendees about the relentless and dedicated service of doctors in society and the Defense Forces. It focused on developing an understanding of the challenges in the healthcare environment, especially during crisis situations, patient-doctor communication, and advances in medical technology.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony for doctors and medical staff. This initiative by the Army underscores its commitment to fostering enhanced understanding among troops regarding overall physical and mental well-being.
