Gwalior: A 25-year-old IAF officer – posted in the Maharajpur Air Force Station’s Engineering Branch – committed suicide on Wednesday by hanging himself in his hostel room at the Mess within Gola Ka Mandir Police Station limits here, police said.
The deceased was identified as Flying Officer Jaidutt Singh who hailed from Gujarat’s Bhavnagar. Law-enforcement officers rushed to the scene and a FSL team followed. A diary found contained the entry ‘Happy birthday Dad, sorry’.
