Imphal: A team of Imphal East police commandos arrested one drug seller from Kshetri Awang Leikai near Mina Bazar.
The arrested person has been identified as Md. Washim Khan alias Abdul Rooney (24 yrs), son of late Md. Ramejuddin of Kshetri Awang Leikai, Imphal East District.
The police party seized 200 nos. of WY tablets, two bottles of Cough Syrup, 40 nos. of empty plastic veil, one mobile phone and one Maruti Suzuki Swift bearing regd. no. AS-01DX-3242 from his possession.
The arrested person along with the seized items was handed over to Porompat Police Station for taking up further necessary legal action, as per a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police.
