Imphal: A team of Imphal East commandos arrested one active member of the outfit National Revolutionary Front-Manipur (NRF-M) from Mantripukhri Chumbreithong near NRL Oil Pump Friday.
The cadre has been identified as Phuritsabam Sonish alias Surjit, 37, son of Ph Manglem Singh of Uripok Bachaspati Maning Leikai, imphal West.
The arrested person was handed over to Heingang Police Station for further necessary legal action and a case has been registered at the same police station, as per a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police, W Basu.
