Imphal: Considering the prevailing situation of COVID-19, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth (ICICI Foundation) handed over one medical Ambulance and 51 oxygen concentrators to Chief Minister N. Biren Singh in a solemn function held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat Thursday.
The medical ambulance is equipped with power backup wherever required through UPS or Rooftop Solar with battery. The Oxygen concentrators will be provided to CHCs, PHCs etc. across different district districts of the State.
ICICI Foundation, CSR arm of ICICI Group, is providing maximum support towards the State Government in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Secretary to Chief Minister Ningthoujam Geoffrey, Deputy Secretary to Chief Minister Shri P. Gojendro Singh, officials of ICICI and others were present during the function.
Later, the NorthEastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi) under its CSR initiative donated Rs. 15 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the upgradation of Oxygen infrastructure in the State. The donation amount was received by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh.
