Hockey Andhra Pradesh to host Inter-District Hockey championships from Dec 28 to January 13

Visakhapatnam: Hockey Andhra Pradesh (HAP) to conduct Inter-District Hockey championships from December 28 to January 13 next year..
Hockey Andhra Pradesh State Sub Junior (Men) Inter-District Hockey Championship will be held at Visakhapatnam from December 28 to 30, 2022, HAP Secretary K.Bhavani Shankara Rao said in a release here on Wednesday.
State Junior (Girls) Inter-District Hockey Championship will be held at Yellamanchili from January 8 to 10 while the State Senior (Men) Inter-District Hockey Championship will be held at Madanapalli from January 10 to 13.
In order to participate in the Championships, it is proposed to hold Selections on December 18 at 9.30 AM for Sub Junior (Men), Junior (Girls), Senior (Men) at Salagramapuram Hockey Ground to represent Visakhapatnam District Hockey Teams.
The children who were born on or after January 1, 2006 for Sub Junior (Men), January 1, .2003 for Junior (Girls) are eligible to participate in the selection trials.
As per the directives of Hockey India / Hockey Andhra Pradesh, one player should participate in one category only during the year.
