Governor Uikey extends festive gifts for Raj Bhavan staff

Imphal: Ahead of the two major festivals – Diwali and Ningol Chakkouba, the Governor of Manipur, Anusuiya Uikey extended festive gifts and sweets to officers, officials, staff and security personnel working in Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. In a simple function held at the Durbar hall, the Governor distributed sweets and gifts comprising of blankets and mosquito nets to the staff and security personnel.

Governor Uikey while advocating the need to restore peace and tranquility said the message of brotherhood and peaceful co-existence has to be instilled in the minds of all the people so that all differences can be sorted out so as to bring peace and normalcy like before in the state.
