Hamirpur (HP): HP Technical Education Minister, Dr Ram Lal Markandeya said on Thursday that the main priority of the state government is to provide better and qualitative education to the students and to prepare them for future challenges.
He said this during a visit to the HP Technical University here on Thursday while on his way to Dharamshala to take part in the winter session of the HP Vidhan Sabha starting from Friday.
He said to promote technical education, educational institutions are being opened in remote places of the state so that the maximum number of students of the state can get access to quality education and hone their skills.
Earlier, Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary, Technical Education and Revenue Department and Vice-Chancellor of Technical University, welcomed the Minister.
After this, the Minister took stock of the ongoing activities and construction works on the university campus. He inspected the computer lab, classroom, web studio, and library.
