Goa: Kejriwal promises hike in ‘Griha Aadhar Yojana’ if AAP comes to power

Addressing party workers, he also announced that those women who are above 18 years of age and not covered under 'Griha Aadhar Yojana' would be given Rs 1000 per month.

Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced that if his party comes to power, it would increase the amount given in ‘Griha Aadhar Yojana’ from Rs 1500 to Rs 2500.

Addressing party workers, he also announced that those women who are above 18 years of age and not covered under ‘Griha Aadhar Yojana’ would be given Rs 1000 per month.

He said other parties only talk about women empowerment but they do nothing.

Kejriwal said the scheme of Rs 1000 every month would be the biggest program of women empowerment in the world.

Kejriwal said AAP was preparing plans for the overall development of Goa while other parties were interested only in looting the state.
Goa will go for assembly elections early next year.
