Bishnupur: The District Administration Bishnupur held a full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day parade 2023 on Monday at the Mini Stadium Ground/DSA Ground Bishnupur, where the Republic Day Celebration 2023 will be held on January 26th, 2023.
The district administration in Bishnupur also appealed to the people of the district to come and witness the celebration of Republic Day, 2023.
In all, 27 contingents and 2 cultural troupes took part in Monday’s full dress rehearsal. These 27 contingents that will march past on the Republic Day celebration include eight platoons, 17 contingents of school students, one contingent of anganwadi workers, an ICDS cell in Bishnupur, the Bishnupur District ASHA Contingent, and the Bishnupur Kha Ward Nos. 5 and 6 Woman Contingent.
The Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur District Lourembam Bikram, will unfurl the National Flag and take the march past salute on Republic Day.
Parade Commander will be Satyaam Takhellambam, MPS, Additional SP (Law & Order), Bishnupur.
