Kohima:  The Red Shield Division of the Indian Army played a friendly football match with Makhan Village Football Club at Leimakhong Military Station on Friday. 

The game was played to promote sports and strengthen relations between Security Forces with local populace.      

Both teams participated with great zeal and enthusiasm, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship throughout the match. The match ended with a score line of 2-1 in favour of Army.   

The match concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. During this informal gathering, village authorities were interacted with. Villagers expressed gratitude and appreciated the Army’s efforts to promote sports.
