Pune: A day after resigning from the MNS party, Rupali Patil on Thursday not only joined the NCP but also announced that several women leaders from the MNS are set to join the NCP.
Former Corporator Ms Patil formally entered the NCP in the presence of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and state party chief Jayant Patil.
Speaking at the occasion, she said, “You are the architect of your life. Ajit Pawar, who is also Pune Guardian Minister, is familiar with my work. Hence, when I approached him in Mumbai and expressed my desire to join the NCP, he accepted my request.”
“With the support of NCP leaders and workers, I will continue to work in my own style even in the NCP,” she said.
“Many MNS women wing workers and leaders will also join the NCP very soon,” she asserted.
