Shillong: District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District Friday permitted food delivery services for kitchens providing food for Quarantine Centers, persons on COVID-19 duty and families/persons under home isolation who cannot procure food items or cook on their own.
It directed licensed restaurants/food establishments undertaking the same to ensure full compliance to COVID-19 safety protocols and undertake that the food served is packaged and delivered in a hygienic manner. They may apply to this office on dcofficeshillong@gmail.com or dc-ekh-meg@nic.in for limited food delivery passes.
This order applies for the duration of the lockdown period i.e. till 5:00 AM of May 10, 2021.
