Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will undertake an aerial survey on Sunday morning to assess the natural calamity and flood-related damages due to incessant rains in river Godavari catchment zones.
A statement from the Chief Minister’s Office here on Saturday said the Chief Minister will conduct an aerial survey on the Godavari between the Kadem project and Bhadrachalam.
Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar will also join the Chief Minister in the survey. The official machinery will finalize the Chopper route for aerial survey.
As part of public healthcare, State Health Minister T Harish Rao is holding a review with Doctors and higher officials to take necessary measures to contain the spread of communicable diseases in flood-affected areas.
Following the CM’s aerial survey, the Medical and Health department is preparing an action plan, the statement added.
