Gangtok: Five Tourists from Maharashtra and the driver died after their vehicle fell down a slope in Sikkim, officials said on Sunday.

The incident took place around 13 km from Lachung in North Sikkim district on Saturday night.

The tourists were on their way from North Sikkim to Gangtok.

The deceased have been identified as Suresh Punamia, Tara Punamia, DevAnshire Punamia, Hiral Punamia and Jayan Parmar. Smith Bishwakarma was the driver.
