Kolhapur / Ratnagiri: A fishing boat with six crew from Jaigad of Ratnagiri district went missing in the sea off Ratnagiri coast.

The fishing vessel ‘Naved-2’, with its six-member crew, had gone fishing in sea off Ratnagiri coast on the evening of Oct 26.

Two days after, when there was no contact from the crew, boat owner Sansare informed district administration, which launched a search operation with the help of Coast Guard and some private boats in deep-sea and fished out two bodies from the sea tonight after five days.
Meanwhile, the search operation continued for four other members, who are still missing.

The six were identified as Dagdu Tandem, Govind Narvekar, Datta, Surya, Anil and Amol, all from Guhagar.
