Farooq, Omar express grief over massive loss of lives in Morocco earthquake

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member Parliament Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the massive loss of lives and destruction caused by the earthquake in Morocco.

Expressing grief over the incident, Dr. Farooq said, “I am deeply pained to know about the loss of lives in a fatal earthquake in Morocco. I wish success to the underway relief and rescue operations.”

“My heart goes out to the people of Morocco in this hour of tragedy. I send my deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

I wish the underway rescue and relief operations all success”, Omar said in a statement.
