Lucknow: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Monday said a member of her family, and a staff have tested positive for Covid, while she herself has tested negative. She did not disclose who were the people who tested positive for Covid-19.
In a tweet, Priyanka said she will remain in isolation for a few days and undergo a test again.
“A member of my family and one of my staff have tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. I have tested negative today however the doctor has advised that I remain isolated and test again after a few days,” Priyanka Gandhi said in a tweet.
Priyanka has been leading Congress’ charge in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh, and has shifted to Lucknow ahead of the polls.
She has been holding rallies and public meetings across the state, launching an aggressive campaign in the state ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
