Kohima: Former Nagaland Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang on Monday submitted his nomination papers as the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP)Candidate from Peren Assembly Constituency in Peren district.
Official sources said that Tarie Zeliang, the NDPP candidate from Tening Assembly Constituency, and Zandi Domta, the NPP candidate from Tening Assembly Constituency, also entered the fray for the February 27 Nagaland Assembly Election.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Yanthungo Patton filed his nomination before the Returning Officer for Tyui A/C under Wokha district as a BJP candidate, while Yibemo Kikon joined the race from the same seat on an RJD ticket.
Three nomination papers were received for the Sanis constituency.
