Chennai: Uttarkhand, Assam and Nagaland registered comfortable wins in the Plate Group matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy Limited overs cricket tournament here today.

While Uttarkhand beat Meghalaya by six wickets, Assam thrashed Manipur by ten wickets and Nagaland beat Sikkim by 98 runs to collect four points each.
However, the match between Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh was abandoned due to overnight rain and both the teams gained two points.
