New Delhi: Strong tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday at around 2225 hours.
People rushed out of their homes following the earthquake.
There was no report of any injured or damage to the property till filing of this report.
As per reports, an earthquake measuring 7.7 magnitude on richter scale affected countries like Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The epicentre was reportedly located in Afghanistan’s Kalafgan.
Meanwhile, the National Centre for Seismology in a tweet wrote, “Earthquake of Magnitude:6.6, Occurred on 21-03-2023, 22:17:27 IST, Lat: 36.09 & Long: 71.35, Depth: 156 Km ,Location: 133km SSE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan”.
