Imphal: Stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party is an organised and disciplined political party, caretaker Chief Minister N Biren Singh said there is no decision yet by the BJP high command on who will be the next Chief Minister of Manipur.
Biren, who arrived here on Thursday after three days in the national capital, clarified that there are so many speculations and rumours about the Chief Minister in both media and social media, which is absolutely wrong. Such speculation and remour would create only misunderstandings among the colleagues and the party.
The BJP Parliamentary Board will decide who will be the next CM and moreover, the Board had already appointed Election Observers to look into the matter, said Biren and added that he went to Delhi only to participate in a poll review meeting under the leadership of BJP chief JP Nadda.
Senior Minister Th Biswajit, who arrived in the same flight, also clarified that there was no discussion at all about who will be next CM in Manipur.
Of course there was a review meeting of the poll outcome and at the same about the coming 2024 general election, he added.
