Kohima: The security forces and Assam police in a joint operation arrested one cadre of the Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) from Naharbari Colony in Dimapur on September 7 last, officials said here on Friday.
According to an official release issued by the PRO of the Headquarter of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) in Kohima informed that based on a specific input, the joint operation was conducted to arrest the cadre, who has been “involved in several terrorist activities in Assam.”
The cadre was handed over to the Assam Police at East Police Station in Dimapur, for further investigation, it added.
