Denmark PM visits Taj Mahal, Agra Fort

The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were closed for two hours for tourists due to their visit on Sunday morning.

Agra: Denmark Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen along with a delegation visited the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort on Sunday morning.

After visiting the Taj Mahal, PM Frederiksen wrote in the visitor’s book “This place is beautiful”. On behalf of the Danish delegation, she wished “Everyone the best”.

The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were closed for two hours for tourists due to their visit on Sunday morning.

This is the first visit of any country head in 21 months. US President Donald Trump had visited India in January 2020.

Denmark PM arrived in Agra on Saturday night. After staying overnight in the suite of Hotel Amar Vilas located at Taj East Gate, she went to see the Taj Mahal and the fort with her husband.
