Bishnupur: Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur, Krishna Kumar handed over 50 oxygen concentrators to Chief Medical Officer, Bishnupur , Dr. Gyaneshor Singh Wednesday in the presence of SP, Bishnupur, Hopson Sapam, ADM H. Bobby Sharma and other officials.
On the sideline of the distribution, Krishna Kumar informed the media that the oxygen concentrators were donated by Hans Foundation, Tuli, Nagaland through its founder and COO Brig. (Retd.) Shalendra S. Kataria.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the oxygen concentrators will be really helpful in fighting against the Covid pandemic. To ensure the availability of oxygen in any case of emergency, the DC also requested the CMO to make the oxygen concentrators available at CHCs and PHCs also, besides Covid Care Centres.
Thanking the Hans foundation for the support, Krishna Kumar anticipated more cooperation from the Foundation in the fight against the pandemic.
