Senapati: Joining the nationwide celebration, the District Administration, Senapati also celebrated the Cyber Jaagrukta Diwas on 6th October, 2022 at Conference Hall, DC Office, Senapati.
In the celebration, L. Dhaneshwar, District Informatics Officer (NIC), Senapati said that the whole country India will be celebrating Cyber Jaagrukta Diwas throughout this month of October.
The main purpose of the celebration is to create awareness of issues relating to cybercrimes and cyber hygiene to prevent cybercrimes, phishing, online financial frauds etc., he added. He also highlighted various do’s and don’ts of cyber related matters, social networking sites like facebook, instagram, etc., banks related matters and other online facilities through SMS.
He also said that in any cases of cybercrime, anyone can report it to the given website- https://cybercrime.gov.in/. He also appeals to members present to stay alert and be cautious of various scams and frauds.
It may also be mentioned that the celebration is also held in all the sub- divisional areas of the district.
The programme was attended by staffs of DRDA, CAF& PD, NIC, DIT, Election Department, Representatives from Banks & CSCs.
